In many big companies every employee is from time to time a purchaser. Overtime food, flowers for the anniversary, a new mobile phone, a new pc bag and so on. These are all purchases that in an ideal world should be registered as such in the ERP system.

It is the small, non important purchases of for instance flowers for an employee’s birthday or the new pc bag for your sales rep. In amount these are small, but in volume they are big. How can this be possible?  Let’s say you are buying flowers for an anniversary.

 

1.Bring up the quick purchase navigator and select flowers.

2.A list of flower suppliers is presented.

3.Select supplier. The phone number of the store is presented. Make the call.

4.Get the price. Enter the price in the quick purchase price field. Hit OK.

5.A complete purchase order is created behind the scenes. 

6.Give the purchase order number to the flower supplier.

7.With the purchase order number added to the invoice it can automatically be matched!
